How to fix malformed iTunes backup

When extracting from an iTunes backup, you may encounter an error like the following:

Error Code : 11 (SQLITE_CORRUPT)
Caused By : The database disk image is malformed.
(database disk image is malformed (code 11))

This means your iTunes backup is corrupted or damaged in some way. It usually happens with very large backups, but could occur for various reasons. This can be resolved in two ways:

• You can delete all previous iTunes backups, then create a brand new iTunes backup and extract again
• If this doesn't resolve the issue, send us the Manifest.db file for manual repair, as shown below or by manually uploading it via Dropbox/Google Drive/WeTransfer
